Geotechnical centrifugal model test is a new technology. It canvisually and correctly reveal the engineering characters of the soils,provide the basis for the design and construction, and verify the servicecondition of the structures. It is also be used as a method forfundamental research. This technology has been widely applied inmany countries.Since 1980s, lots of academic institutes anduniversities in China have established their own centrifuge modelinglaboratories which have provided valuable data for design andconstruction of many key projects. In addition, important researchresults have been achieved with respect to fundamental research.
Centrifugal model test is complicated in the aspects ofequipment, measuring instrument, model preparation, data and videoacquisition, etc.. Nevertheless, it is vital to ensure the safety of testand to avoid accidents. It is necessary to develop operation procedureand requirement in order to ensure the reliability of the test data andsafety operation of equipment and instrument. So this Standard isformulated.

以黃驊港防波堤工程為依托,對(duì)有、無土工織物加筋墊層及不同織物加筋條件下堤壩和軟土地基的變形與穩(wěn)定進(jìn)行了離心模型試驗(yàn)對(duì)比研究。得到了地基土體的豎向與水平位移分布規(guī)律以及孔隙水壓力的消散特性。研究表明:土工織物加筋墊層的加筋機(jī)理源于其對(duì)土體的側(cè)限效果,鋪設(shè)土工織物后能有效地減小地基的沉降,并能夠限制淺層土體的側(cè)向變形;為使土工織物的加筋效果能夠得以充分發(fā)揮,要求織物的強(qiáng)度及模量要與墊層的界面強(qiáng)度相匹配。
